We Are God’s Children Now
Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for the 3rd Sunday of Easter, 04/14/24.
After His resurrection, Jesus Christ appeared to his disciples and apostles. He showed them that He was not a ghost and even ate with them. Then He opened their minds to see the truth in the scriptures and sent them to spread the Good News about forgiveness of sin through belief in Jesus Christ. As baptized Christians–by water and the Spirit–We Are Children of God Now. Our lives need to reflect Christ’s teachings and our everyday life should reflect Christ and the Holy Spirit’s presence within us.
