Through Christ, We Are One With God

Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for the 7th Sunday of Easter, 05/29/2022, Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL. “Through Christ, We Are One With God”

Through our baptism, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God are with us forever. As Christ taught his disciples to “be One with Him”, we, too, need to learn to change our hearts, to be One With God, and to follow His example and teaching. We need to allow Spirit to lead us as we grow into becoming more and more Christ-led disciples. This alignment with Christ’s teaching and examples may create fundamental changes in our attitudes and beliefs and actions. We need to be sure we are focusing on Christ’s example and working with the Spirit within us.
