Jesus is God’s Word Made Flesh
Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for the 1st Sunday after Christmas, 12/29/2024, Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL.
In today’s Gospel (John 1: 1-14), John clearly states that “Jesus is God’s word made manifest.” God keeps his word, even to the extent to sending His Son to take on human flesh (without sin) and to redeem the entire world for all time.
(Readings: Isaiah 61:10-62:3; Psalm 147; Galatians 3:23-25; 4:4-7; John 1:1-18)
