Come, Holy Spirit–Pentecost Homily
Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for Pentecost Sunday, 06/05/2022.
Jesus shared the Holy Spirit with his apostles through His breath. After His crucifixion and resurrection, the Holy Spirit came to the Early Christians in Jerusalem gathered for a harvest festival called the Pentecost. The Holy Spirit has come to each of us at our baptism. The Holy Spirit is our direct connection to God. We can invite the Holy Spirit to help us to become the best Christians we can be.
(Readings: Acts 2:1-21; Psalm 104: 25-35, 37; Romans 8:22-27; John 14 8 17, 25 27)
