CEB Church Walk

The first annual Batavia Historic Church Walk will be held on Sunday, September 9th, 2018, from 1 to 4 PM  (Tickets $15 to benefit the renovation of the Batavia Railroad Museum).

Calvary Episcopal Church, in Batavia, IL, is one of the four churches featured on the walk.  What follows is the Facebook Post to be shared with docents (people leading the tour for Calvary).

We had a very successful first annual Batavia Historic Church Walk.  About 100 visitors came through Calvary Episcopal Church–the sanctuary and the parish hall and our “new wing” between 1 and 4 PM.  Pictured below is the “Great West Window” with the Self-Sacrificing Pelican.  Note the color of the cross and of the oval of dots around the Good Shepherd.  At different times of the day, the cross and the dots change color and become light blue.
