We are the Body of Christ

Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for Palm Sunday, 03/24/2024, Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL

We are the Body of Christ. What affects one of us affects all of us. Jesus Christ’s experiences commemorated by Palm Sunday, Easter Week, and Easter Services remind us of both the past and the present. Christ’s passion, crucifixion, death, and resurrection bring each of us the promise of eternal life. By virtue of our baptism, we have joined the Body of Christ. As fellow Christians around the world go through experiences of hunger, pain, war, death, conflict, Christ continues to be there with us.
