Keep on Asking, Seeking, and Knocking
Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for the 19th Sunday after Pentecost, 10/16/2022, Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL
In today’s Gospel (Luke 18 1-8), Jesus tells His disciples a parable about a persistent widow who overcomes an unjust judge. How much more responsive than an unjust judge will God be to the persistent pleas of His people? Jesus also asks, “When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on earth.”
