Giving Your Heart to God

Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for the 25th Sunday after Pentecost, 11/10/2024–Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL

In today’s Gospel (Mark 12: 38-44), Jesus tells His disciples about the donation a widow made of two copper coins (each worth about 1/8th of a penny–all she had). She was giving her heart to God. We need to learn to do the same.
