Christ Extends the Scope of His Ministry

Fr Mike’s homily for the 3rd Sunday in Lent, 03/12/2023–Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL.

When Jesus meets and speaks with the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well, he is extending the scope of His ministry beyond the Jewish people. This comes as a surprise to His disciples.
