Heaven is Unknowable–We Choose Christ’s Love
Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for 11/05/2023–“All Saints’ Sunday” (23rd Sunday after Pentecost), Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL
Thinking about what everlasting life in Heaven with Christ will be like is beyond our imagination. Some put forth their ideas and God has full control. We can choose to live our lives following Christ’s example and loving the way Christ loved. Joined with Christ and the Holy Spirit at our baptism, we can work to live Jesus’s values and loving more and more in our lives, coming closer to divinity as we do it.
(Readings: Revelation 7:9-17; Psalm 34:1-10, 22; 1 John 3:1-3; Matthew 5:1-12)
