When we pray, "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" we are consciously reconnecting to God. As baptized Christians, the Holy Spirit is always with us and, because these three aspects of God are always connected, God is always with us. We need to remember this. As we need to live the "mystery of our lives," so, too, do we need to live the "Mystery of the Holy Trinity"--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through baptism, the Holy Spirit is brought to us and is an essential part of our lives. Through the Holy Spirit, we also tap into the Christ and into the Father--the "three-in-one." Fr Michael Rasicci’s homily for Trinity Sunday, 06/12/2022. The Trinity is a mystery–one God in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus told His disciples that he had more to teach them and that they could not bear it while Jesus was with them. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to them to teach them and to inspire them.
