In today's Gospel (Luke 1), Luke speaks of Mary's visit to Elizabeth while both were pregnant. John the Baptist, in Elizabeth's womb, reacted strongly to the presence of Jesus, in Mary's womb. Humans communicate with our bodies. Jesus came present to save us, according to God's will, after Mary said "yes" to God....

We need to remember Christ's call to us to be loving members of the Body of Christ and to reach out to those in need. Christ continues to reach out to us, not because we deserve it, but because that is what He promised us. God created all things--including us, his children....
