Update on Calvary Congregational Life-Cycle Challenge

At the beginning of our Annual Parish Meeting at Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL, we watched the video about the Calvary Congregational Life-Cycle Challenge.  At the end of the video, parishioners attending used the colored dots provided in their envelopes to mark out where, on the Calvary Congregational Life-Cycle Challenge, they saw Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, IL, as of January, 2017.

These colored dots were used on individual graphics.  The individual graphic were then tallied and dots duplicated on the large graphic embedded in this post.  This graphic represents all responses to the challenge received as of the Annual Parish Meeting on 01/22/2017.  Colors of the dots indicate gender and age.  Orange day-glow dots represent females above the age of 50. Yellow “neon” dots represent males above the age of 50. Green dots represent females age 50 or below. Orange dots represent males age 50 or below.

The Vestry will be working with Fr Mike and an outside consultant from the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago’s College of Congregational Development, Fr Gregg Morris, to follow-up on what the graphic indicates and we move forward in planning our ongoing Spiritual renewal and revitalization activities starting during our Lenten program this year.

Parishioners can still get their envelopes from the office and complete the Calvary Congregational Life-Cycle Challenge.  Their dots will be captured on the large graphic, which will continually be updated.
