“We’re a steward of life, an ambassador on a short-term, mortal assignment by Christ. Who knows for how long?  Give it your all; you will be given all you need.”

-Br.Curtis Almquist

Why We Give?

What we believe about giving is:
We encourage giving as an act of worship

It focuses our hearts on our true treasure which is Christ (Matthew 6:21)
It is an acknowledgement that God is the owner of everything.
It turns our focus from the idolatry of money to serving God (Luke 16:11-13)
It is an expression of our love for God and our devotion to Him.
It is born out of our free response to all He has done for us, not out of guilt or duty.

Why We Give?

Our Stewardship ministry explores our roles as disciples of Jesus Christ and looks at ways we can give thanks to God for the blessings we are receiving. Stewardship includes the talents and skills we enjoy, our life’s blessings including family and friends and work, and also making a financial commitment to thank God for these blessings by giving to the church and its services.
